An estimated 785 million people do not have clean water—that’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Many are women and children who walk long distances to gather contaminated water for their families to drink. Access to a sanitary water source improves childhood health, education, and work opportunities for years to come.
We work strategically in southern Asia and Uganda to help meet the global need for water. $2,850 will install a tube well for a village in Asia or you can share the cost. In Uganda, well installation costs $3150. You can be a part of changing lives.
Note: A few wells require motor pumps, and the need is unknown until digging begins. You can choose to fund or share in the cost of a motor pump ($1,000) by mentioning it in the comments of your gift.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GIVE?
You will receive pictures of the exact well you supported, the people you've impacted, and GPS coordinates of the well's location. If you, your business, or group fully funds a well, you will also receive a personalized video* of the dedication ceremony (example above). For each of our water projects, we partner with local community leaders to ensure maintenance and equity of access for all village residents.
*We are able to have a printed banner made upon request to be displayed for the dedication service and video. If you share the cost of a well, you will still receive village details and a video, but the video will also thank the other donors whose funds were pooled together with yours.
