Patrick was born in Gonaive and was placed in the home there as his family was unable to take care of him. A tragic flood happened in 2008, destroying that home, which resulting in Patrick being placed in this home.
UPDATE: Patrick loves to make people laugh, being outside, and being on his phone playing FIFA. He is always asking how he can be helpful and loves spending time with the younger boys. He loves playing UNO or spoons. He gets extra competitive with it. He had his first elevator ride, which was hilarious.
He now lives in an apartment just for the older teenagers above Ambers. He’s taken on the responsibilities of learning to do laundry (still a work in progress), dishes, etc. As a family, we do Bible on Sundays, and they go to a House church on Tuesdays.
Sponsorship Details
South Asia - $30 / month provides food, clothing, school supplies, education, medical care, personal hygiene items, love and care for your child. Some children live in the homes, while most participate in the daytime program and live at home with their parent(s) or a relative.
Haiti - Because it is so much more expensive in Haiti to care for a child we typically have multiple sponsors for each child. Through your sponsorship we are able to provide food, housing, education and basic life needs for each child. We have set up 7 sponsorships for each child for a total of $250 per child/per month.

Total per child = $250/month
Haiti Note: You can still write letters with your child in Haiti! They will only receive extra encouragement with multiple sponsors.
